As of July first, Legionella Compliance Solutions (LCS) has legally been brought back under the Tower Water umbrella of services, now called the Legionella Compliance division of Tower Water.
What Are the Benefits for Our Clients?
Their current service and pricing will not change at all. This transition will make doing business with us easier. There will be one less agreement because all services will be consolidated upon renewal of your agreement. This will consolidate invoices, insurance certificates, reduce other items and create faster and better communication.
As a client of Tower Water who also receives Legionella Compliance services, there will be one water treatment specification, one location for all their documents, and only one website to visit. This creates a streamlined process for all our clients and will result in better overall service. Clients will also have one Water Treatment Expert protecting their systems, and one Legionella Compliance Inspector making sure violations and legionella are kept at bay.
Why Are We Implementing this Change?
In 2016, the NYC Department of Health’s director, at that time, advocated for water treatment companies treating their customers’ systems to be separate from companies completing the compliance of local law 77 and oversight of Legionella. Tower Water was already proactive to the Department of Health’s restrictions by utilizing separate people to perform the two very different services.
There has been no further communication from the DOH in reference to the necessity of separate entities, so we will continue to give you the best service without the need for complexity. Since we always put our client’s best interests first and take changes very seriously, we are officially implementing the Legionella Compliance division back under the Tower Water umbrella of services.
